10 things you need to know.
1. You must follow our policy, without rules a guild isn’t worth crap and it’s no fun, because people aren’t treated fairly. Our policy is clearly stated on the website.
2. You are here to have fun and enjoy the game. Hopefully this guild will seem like a family to you. You have friends in this game that will help out when you need it.
3. Do not beg or have unrealistic expectations of the high level characters. It never hurts to ask for help when really needed, but end game players have their jobs to do too. There is a lot more work to do at level 85 than any other level and that takes time. You guys must understand and respect that.
4. Absolutely no begging for gold in any way. You will immediately be given a warning and the next time you’ll be looking for a new guild.
5. Talk to people and seek information. Most of us have done this leveling thing more than once. We can help! However, wowhead, and google is a great way to get easy answers about quests. Please refrain from asking trivial questions without first trying to find the answer yourself.
6. Feel free to deposit items in the Donations tab. Be sure that’s it’s a useable item or full stack of something. Do not just dump your bags into the guild bank. If there is something you want and can’t access, contact an officer. As long as you are a full member, you can apply for inaccessibles from the bank. Be sure to put in if you take out.
7. Work your professions. If you haven’t started them yet, do it now!! You’re going to need a ton of gold in this game. Gathering professions like mining or herbalism are very good for making gold. If you need to - make a level 1 bank alt character, ship the stuff to him or her, and post on the AH. That way you don’t have to run back and forth, wasting valuable time. Auction all greens you can’t use or guild bank them for others. You’d be amazed at how much gold you can get. Uldum’s economy is very strong.
8. Don’t spam guild or trade chat with nonsense. Sure have fun and all, but keep it adult, respectful, and productive please.
9. Want to get kicked out? Act like an idiot. Our guild name represents all of us from the 85’s to those level 10 and brand new to the game. If you disrespect the name Dawning Nemesis, you shame us all and people in other guilds will spread the word quickly. Do not disrespect other players; they’re people just like you and me.
10. Above all else have a sense of guild pride. It is what you make it. This guild has been around for years. We are expanding and arming ourselves for the Cataclysm and beyond. Nothing pleases the officers more than to see you helping others, and showing a sense of spirit and pride. If things are going well and people are helping you, tell us about it. You get what you give in this guild.
